We Are Innovation. Amplified.®
This is just one of the exciting products recently introduced by Peavey this year. Here's a little bit about this small but mighty amplifier:
Peavey Electronics® proves that good things come in smaller packages at the 2019 NAMM Show. In a second collaboration with Periphery guitarist, Misha Mansoor, the new invective™.MH amplifier packs all of the best tones from its 120 W big brother into a much more portable 20 W mini head format. At the heart of this little monster is a pair of EL84 power tubes shaped by three 12AX7/ECC83 preamp tubes, providing everything from pristine cleans to the infinitely chunky gated d’jent destruction.
The many features of the invective.MH will satisfy even the most discerning of gear heads. The onboard T.S.I.™ (Tube Status Indication) circuit helps the user diagnose a problem with the power tubes. The bias adjustment pot is located on the top of the small, rugged chassis. Additionally, foot switches allow the invective.MH to engage or disengage the Tight voicing and any combination of Gate and Boost on the Lead channel, respectively. There’s also an independently foot-switchable buffered effects loop.
If there’s one key takeaway, don’t be deceived by the size or format of the invective.MH. No matter the venue, this mini amplifier has plenty of oomph for small-to-medium sized gigs and can even work as a backline stage monitor with its attenuator switch directing power at 20 W, 5 W, or 1 W to suit the need.
Offering a highly portable format, the invective.MH weighs just over 16.5 pounds unpacked. Pack it up for the trunk or backseat, and it’s approximately 14 inches wide by 7.5 inches tall, with a depth of just over 12 inches.
Classic style, classic tone and modern versatility. If the blues is your way of life, this is your amp. 30 classic all-tube watts are way louder than solid state and modern flexibility comes from a tremolo with speed and intensity controls, pre-and post-gain controls on the lead channel, 3-band passive EQ, a boost switch, external speaker jack, and an effects loop. Jamming or gigging, this baby can hold down your end of the sound. The all new Celestion Fullback speaker makes sure your tone is pure and loud!
From the creators of the revolutionary VYPYR® and VYPYR VIP series comes the Peavey VYPYR Pro 100, the evolution of the most advanced modeling amplifier on the planet. The VYPYR Pro 100 continues the tradition of appropriate technology using four stages of exclusive TransTube® analog gain to create the most realistic tube sounding distortion in any modeling amplifier, ever.
With over 500 presets available and more than 100 different models of effects, reverbs, delays, and amplifiers, the VYPYR Pro 100 is the most innovative and advanced modeling amplifier on the planet. Designed for the gigging musician by the musicians at Peavey Electronics, it is perhaps the most versatile amp ever created.
